Step 3. Set up Nametag VerifiedHire

Note: If you’ve already set up a microsite for self-service account recovery, you can skip the “Add your logo and branding” section. Scroll down to the second section, “Customize the onboarding end-user experience”.

Add your logo and branding.

Customize the microsite that new hires will use to onboard themselves into your company. Nametag automatically creates and hosts this page for you. Just set a URL and add your company’s branding so employees know they’re at the right place. You can also set the public name users see, upload your logo, and add your company’s brand colors. Your branding will also populate into the iOS App Clip or Android Instant App which appears on a user’s phone.

Refer to our admin docs for detailed instructions on configuring and customizing your self-service site and user experience: configure a self-service site.

Customize the onboaring end-user experience.

To create a more personal onboarding experience, you can also customize the text that appears on your onboarding-specific webpage for new employees, as well as the text that appears inside of the Nametag experience on their phone.

  1. In the Nametag administrator console, navigate to Configure → Request templates → Self-service account provisioning.
  2. Edit the text under “Custom QR Code text” to change the text that appears on the page where a new hire scans a QR code to open Nametag on their phone.
  3. Edit the text under “Request headline on user's mobile device” to change the text that appears when a new employee begins the identity verification flow.
  4. Edit the text under “Share button copy” to change the text that appears on the button which a new hire presses in order to finish verifying their identity.
  5. Edit the text under “Completed request message” to change the text that appears on the final page of the identity verification flow for new hires.
  6. Click “Save template” in the upper-right corner to save your changes.
