Job Title: Android Mobile Engineer
Location: Remote-first
Job Type: Full-Time
Nametag is seeking a skilled Android Engineer to build beautiful, robust and user-centric mobile experiences for end users. This role requires a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, in all its diverse glory, as well as a passion to building beautiful, pixel-perfect, simple and elegant mobile applications.
As an Android Engineer, you’ll help us build our mobile experience that serves to strongly identify our users. Our mobile app uses Kotlin and Jetpack Compose as well as advanced cryptography features of the platform. Our application is packaged both as a traditional application in the Play Store as well as an Instant App, which reduces friction for first-time users of our application.
You will work with our CTO, Head of Product, other engineers on our mobile team, and our product designers to build a next-generation leading security platform.
You’ll be working closely with experienced business and technical leaders where your voice will be heard, and your actions will shape the team’s success. As with many early stage companies, there is an immense opportunity to learn and have impact as we grow.
We believe strongly that diverse teams drive greater innovation. Diversity comes from people of different backgrounds and experiences working together in an environment where ideas are respected, voices are heard, and decisions are made with integrity in the best interest of our company and our customers. We believe we can build the best product when everyone contributes.
Nametag has both B2B and B2C components - we are a platform that connects companies with their customers.
