Job Title: HR & Recruiting Manager

Summary
Nametag is seeking an HR & Recruiting Manager to help scale our team and people operations during a time of fast-paced growth. This role will focus primarily on full-cycle recruiting — sourcing, screening, and coordinating top talent across technical and non-technical roles — while also supporting core HR generalist functions including onboarding, benefits, compliance, and internal communications. You’ll play a key role in shaping our remote-first culture and delivering a thoughtful, high-quality employee experience.
Role Overview
As the HR & Recruiting Manager, you will be the go-to person for attracting, hiring, and supporting our growing team. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to fill roles quickly with high-caliber candidates, while also helping maintain HR policies, manage systems, and support day-to-day people operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruiting:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for open roles across engineering, product, sales, marketing, and operations.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job descriptions, source candidates, and guide them through the process.
- Maintain and improve the applicant tracking system (ATS), scheduling tools, and hiring processes.
- Build a strong pipeline of diverse candidates through sourcing, outreach, and employer branding efforts.
- HR Generalist Support:
- Assist in onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.
- Maintain employee records and support HR systems and documentation.
- Answer employee questions related to policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Help organize internal communications, performance reviews, and company-wide HR initiatives.
- Compliance & Culture:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, particularly for our remote-first U.S.-based workforce.
- Help shape and scale our people-first, inclusive culture as the team grows.

- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments.
- Strong familiarity with HR systems, tools (e.g., ATS, onboarding), and processes.
- Experience with technical recruiting, particularly for engineering and product roles.
- Passion for building inclusive, equitable teams and delivering an excellent candidate and employee experience.
- Exceptional organizational and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and discretion.
- U.S.-based with working knowledge of employment best practices in a distributed environment.
